Here is what electing Republicans gets you. Government designed to fail.

Florida’s unemployment disaster: New investigation is 95 pages of buck-passing

Texas power grid catastrophe another example.

wow. Another word for all of that: CORRUPTION, all the way to the tools conducting that "investigation" and those reporting on it.

Impossible. Ron DeSantis is KGF's hero, a rising star and the runaway 2024 front runner. This must be fake news.

Your problem here is assuming that any of this corruption is actually bad to Republican voters. If we've learned anything about Repubican voters over the course of the Trump administration it's that Republicans love corruption like flies love sh!t.

What a terrible governor!! Imagine how much worse this would be if he had locked down the state and unemployment doubled like in CA or NY.

"You give folks health care, the next thing you know, they want to vote and lord knows what else! It's a slippery slope!"
Aren’t you guys always whining that red states are takers and how tired you are of footing the Bill? Not to mention all your totally sincere complaints about debt. I guess that was all BS.

This is blatantly misleading. The State of Mississippi would still be on the hook for somewhere in the neighborhood of $120,000,000 a year on a go-forward basis unless policy changes for the expansion population under the ACA. (10% of 250,000 members at roughly a $400.00 PMPM for 12 months in a year). These individuals still have options under the exchanges, at no cost to the State. Easier to levy criticism when you don't actually have to balance your budget.

First off, you have to take this report with a grain of salt due to the obvious bias in the reporting. The dramatic wording, etc. is quite obviously intended to sway, not to inform. Something tells me you'll find no dramatic framing by this author of the wondeful job DeSantis has done of handling Covid compared to states like New York or New Jersey.

Second, the author claims no one was ever held accountable for the delays in processing the unemployment claims. However, a quick search shows that's patently false. DeSantis replaced DEO chief Ken Lawson who was in charge of the program & Lawson resigned.

Ultimately, this really isn't a huge story. Covid hit, unemployment claims spiked as people lost their jobs & after people were offerred an extra $650 a week to not work, the system was overloaded & had to be repaired. The head of the DEO who oversaw the delays was removed & resigned.

The article below is from the very same Orlando Sentinel that the author writes for. You'd think he would know the facts?:

Florida DEO chief resigns months after unemployment compensation debacle

Big difference between a botched rollout and intentionally fucking the system up so it doesn't work. You don't get that, figures....

No one intentionally screwed up the system. You're trying to make a Matterhorn, out of a mole hill.

Yes they did, they intentionally made a system that doesn't work and is underfunded and even when it works only pays peanuts.

Terrible embarrassment. The righties have tricked themselves into loving it. Plus they are used to major screwups.

Imagine taking jobs and money from the AMERICAN middle class. (Natl Research Council team of social scientists, demographers, economists determined AMERICAN working class loses significant amt of money. 30 yr Harvard researcher peter borjas identified that amt at $500 billion.) Imagine that the drug cartels are using this flood of illegals to do what they do. Imagine all the people who are waiting in line to get here legally. Imagine even the leftwing mexican president says biden should have stayed with trump policies. Imagine even Clinton and Obama were in no uncertain terms for closing down the border due to economic stress on our nation. Imagine if these illegals were republican voters - the wall wouldve been built years ago to the approval of both parties.

Laura Loomer just became the GH righties favourite politician. They are all victims of reverse racism.
Tucker Carlson/Lura Loomer 2024! That's been my pick for months. She will have to fend off MTG though. So many quality candidates!
