Daszak has been blasting the alternatives all over the media. I’m presenting the dissenting viewpoint which has not been ruled out by the WHO. Just China, and Daszak.Accident: you've posted many times and with great detail and elaboration supporting those arguments
Zoonosis: you've posted a few times and nothing more than "it's possible".
Not at all equivalent.
Says who? And how can they possibly say?
Sars2 is not Sars and not Mers, for good reason.
It evolved differently. Prove that wrong.
Scientists, including Daszak. That’s why they’ve been offering up intermediate hosts with the closest match to human ACE2 receptors like pangolins, or frozen ferret steaks...and other low probability hosts due to geography and lack of other clusters of infection in other countries or provinces.
They are (distantly) related coronaviruses also spread via respiratory droplets.
I can’t prove how it evolved. Nobody can, at the moment. The leading non-accident theories are 1) a bizarre coincidence of intermediate crossover occurring elsewhere (eg the US, or Africa or... a mink farm in Belgium ) and the human patient zero somehow ending up in Wuhan - this is the frozen ferret steaks theory Daszak is pushing or 2) direct jump from bats to humans, rapid mutation occurring in some random village - that went under the radar - and a traveler to Wuhan spread it around the urban center. The probability of this is probably much, much less than a research accident but
