On his watch, GWB got elected and the GOP went from 223 House seats to 229, but sure.
😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

I don’t know where you’re getting your information, but Michael Steele was RNC Chairman from 2009-2011. Jim Nicholson was RNC Chair when Bush was elected.

But howie gave it a Like so you’re all good.

So you're saying he's responsible for the Tea Party takeover in 2010. You call that a big failure?

I mean, the Tea Party was a scam. They lied about caring about spending, among many other things. Even still, it got us back in power.

No, I’m referring to the lost presidential campaign and the significant loss of congressional seats. The Tea Party was an organic movement that Steele had little to no participation in.

Being the strong conservative that your are, why do you feel the need to come to JTF’s rescue when he made such a tremendously stupid post.

You should be telling him that he “isn’t smart enough to post here”. Your liberal slip is showing.

So he presided over the huge GOP wave of 2010, the R's best election in decades. And you called him "the most failed RNC leader of all time." Fool.

No. I just think he succeeded. He didn't cause Romney to fail. He was out before that fiasco.

the tea party isn't a single group with a single goal or a single ideology. I've insisted that for years, but you can't argue with it, so back to the straw man.

Now we know why they're against Trump.

Kasich adviser will lobby against potential Russia sanctions

"John Weaver, the top strategist for John Kasich’s presidential campaign in 2016, has registered as a foreign agent and plans to lobby against potential sanctions on Russia.

Weaver signed a contract
last month to lobby on behalf of the Tenam Corporation, a subsidiary of Rosatom, the Russian state-owned nuclear energy company.

Weaver will lobby Congress and the Trump administration on “sanctions or other restrictions in the area of atomic (nuclear) energy, trade or cooperation involving in any way the Russian Federation,”
according to a disclosure filing.

The six-month contract is worth $350,000, plus expenses, with an option to extend if necessary. “Time is of the essence in the Agreement,” the contract reads, according to a copy filed with the Justice Department.

It’s not clear exactly what sanctions Weaver will be lobbying against. Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) introduced legislation in February to beef up sanctions on Russia, which would curtail the amount of uranium that could be imported from Russia starting in 2021, among other provisions. The bill hasn’t made it out of committee.

Weaver is a longtime Republican operative who served as Kasich’s chief strategist during his 2016 presidential campaign and has continued to advise him. He told the Associated Press in February that Kasich was leaning toward challenging President Donald Trump in the GOP primary.

Weaver is also a former adviser to John McCain’s presidential campaigns. He couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

Fletcher Newton, Tenam’s president, said in an interview the company hired Weaver to head off legislation that would make it harder for American utilities and nuclear power plants to buy nuclear fuel from Russia.

Weaver will “work with Congress and, hopefully, make sure they don’t come up with something vis-a-vis Russia that ends up hurting the United States,” he said.

Tenam hired Weaver after asking for recommendations, Newton said, although he declined to say who recommended him.

“I can tell you it’s about as good a recommendation as anybody could ask for,” he said."

We're with you, Sully. You were already a hero for landing your plane in the Hudson River and saving the lives of all your passengers. Now your leading the way again by standing up against Trump so publicly and incurring the wrath of his Godless right wing racist and bigoted followers who no doubt are going to go nuts when their hero is no longer president.

No kidding, some liked to pretend the so called Swamp was some conspiracy fueled myth, no more. If all the NSA, CIA spying on domestic targets ever comes out, and the FBI being involved in Coup ever comes out, the Swamp is done. Of course Trump has to win for that to happen.

Trump needs to try his best to disband these corrupt, rogue entities, as they are not mentioned in the Constitution, and are clearly creeping beyond their 20th century charters. Oversight has failed, and all three need to go.

Classic case of mission creep

And of course, Brilliant Trump is outing all of these people by hiring them to his staff. His genius never ends.

Who poses the question Oak Ridge Boyz isn't the salient point in the post, it is simply thus -

Do you care if the votes of our soldiers serving this country abroad have their votes counted or not?

Yes

Or

No

I've asked this question of others of your ilk and they conveniently won't answer.

It's a simple Yes or No question, time to -

Hey! You left out Lindsey Graham. He certainly belongs on the list. He’s Danish.
