I think he meant this as a compliment. Will anyone tell him?

What's a porn virus?

Oh ... he meant "virus porn", but wasn't smart enough to realize porn is supposed to come after the word. Got it

Watching the news last night wasn't very helpful. The story on camping made it sound like a park like Split Rock won't be open for overnight camping even if the sites aren't on top of each other. So...even though the hike-in site would be considered a dispersed site, the park itself wouldn't be open for overnight stays.

I had a far different reaction to that scene than Kevin. Although I think I just saw a rough cut. People are pissed at the media, although from what I saw, it was directed at CNN, but I dont' think he works for CNN?

This is not due to the lockdown, these people would be starving regardless.

Yesterday's order explicitly calls out State Parks can open and disperse camping is allowed. Take a look at items 8a & 8l. It's right there. I don't think you have to worry too much.

The bigger question is whether parks can afford to fully open given the loss in state revenue. The parks may be open but they may not be able to fully staff yet.
Not so fast.

This link exactly confirms the discussion that has already been had in this thread.

Campgrounds specifically are "developed campsites", and therefore not allowed yet.
Even though the campsites at Split Rock are private (cart-in) and some rustic (hike-in) they still won't be able to open because of the one size fits all decision about campgrounds. That sucks for me.

Go after June 1st, when they'll be opened, like the rest of the state. (y)

Ted, you can come down here to LV and camp out in my backyard anytime; I've got 1.5 acres, a huge putting/chipping green, a swim spa to get some exercise, and you and your group can venture into the house and use the bathroom at any time! The weather is beautiful here now! And Lake Mead National Park is just around the corner if you want to do some sight-seeing or hiking.

Beware...I'm the type that actually shows up. Thanks for the offer.

Make sure you get first class. He’s a rich prick, ya know. Even though he never went to college, and rails against the evils of higher education, to anyone who will listen. Wasn't smart enough to test into the U. And that’s good, I’m glad they uphold some standards. But he’s still a diehard Gopher fan

Sure he will. I was surprised and incorrect. All signs/"models" looked like he would follow other Dem states. No help for the bar/restaurant owners and I wouldn't be surprised to see that rug get pulled out prior to June 1. Another hellish two weeks for them.
Rug pulled.
