Ruh Roh, the Fellers can't send those $15 small donations forever! CRG needs a reup!!

Texas Senator Ted Cruz said Wednesday he will no longer take "woke" corporate political action committee (PAC) donations anymore.

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed titled "Your Woke Money Is No Good Here," the Republican said he was done accepting donations from corporate PACs after several major corporations such as Coca-Cola came out in opposition to the new Georgia voting law.

"In my nine years in the Senate, I've received $2.6 million in contributions from corporate political-action committees," Cruz wrote. "Starting today, I no longer accept money from any corporate PAC. I urge my GOP colleagues at all levels to do the same."

Cruz continued, "For too long, woke CEOs have been fair-weather friends to the Republican Party: They like us until the left's digital pitchforks come out. Then they run away.... Enough is enough. Corporations that flagrantly misrepresent efforts to protect our elections need to be called out, singled out and cut of
f."

My question Raphael (Ted's real name), is where does once procure said digital pitchfork?

A prominent GOP Senator rejects corporate money, in favor of grassroots donations, and the Democrats attack him for it. This is the new political paradigm.
He only rejected "woke" corporate PAC money.

He'll gladly take money from anyone else, and my guess is he ends up rejecting exactly zero contributions. Ted Cruz hasn't a principled bone in his body.

Get off your high horse.

Honestly, it just brings back into the forefront that we need some serious campaign finance reform. One of those few issues that gets good support from constituents of both parties. How to do it might divide people a bit more, but it is a subject we need to tackle soon as a country.

Meat to his base - was it cooked to your preference, Mr. CRG or should we send it back to the kitchen?

A politician refusing to take money from a group he doesn’t want to support. Seems like something everyone would agree with, right? I guess not 🤷‍♂️

What did they get for 2.6 million to date? His revelation on this topic has been nine years in coming.

LMAO -

Great work Howie!

Faux populism and "scholar" - athletes (LMAO) fall for that crap hook line and sinker. The Dump tax cuts benefited whom? The people who are in wealthiest and that likely benefits few on here, probably more of us giving socialists, LOL, than the greedy Fascists.

Guess it shoots down CRG and Faux Birk's supposition (epic fail - par usual) of the organic GOP change.

Hint to the Old White Fellers: if you don't shop at Whole Foods, you are banned from using the word Organic - stay in your lane.

What a perfect response STP. Thanks. You fit right in with the wackos on here.
- Any call for accuracy is a "defense".
- Complimenting anything one does is a full endorsement.
I don't give a sh!t that Cruz went to Cancun and I like that he stopped taking money from a group he doesn't support - so the only answer is that I must be on Cruz's campaign staff. Today's Left.

You don't care that he left his constituents to fend for themselves instead of lobbying on their behalf? - Noted!
Cruz worshipper-Noted!
Today's right.
I've discovered your game is fun...

Is that Jo Jo The Clown's car?
I think it's Matt Gaetz outside of a Florida HS.

Even his fellow Senate QOP'ers hate Ted. But down the middle Spoof will still defend him as if he was Eric and Jr's long lost brother....

Even you must realize what an idiot you are. Unbelievable. This thread sums up the wackos like you to a T. Ted stops taking funds from those he doesn’t support and if I don’t think that is somehow bad I’m “defending” him. As I’ve said 100-times, you have no clue what defend even means you stupid DHB.

Yep. Spoofin's guy...

"Cruz faced a backlash to the column for suggesting that, "this time," he and other Republican lawmakers would stop offering corporations potentially unethical tax breaks and other multibillion-dollar exemptions in return for financial contributions to their political causes.

"This is the point in the drama when Republicans usually shrug their shoulders, call these companies 'job creators,' and start to cut their taxes. Not this time," Cruz wrote in the op-ed."
