That made me nauseous. Shaking with anger. It also brought back some very bad memories of a close loved one who was in a supposedly top notch nursing home yet had issues with poorly trained, poorly paid, and poorly vetted staff.

If there's a silver lining to this COVID madness at all, maybe it places a spot light on the shithole status of our nursing home industry.

His name is Jadon Hayden and it sounds like he's been arrested now. There is also a 2nd video of him pummeling what looks to be an elderly woman in the same environment.

This is why you live at home. Get rid of stairs. Widen doorways. Build ramps into your house. Make your home work for you when you're old. You'll be able to stay at home longer and be happier.

Per #14, he's finally been arrested. Looks like this isn't the first time he's done this. If he gets to jail, he's going to be in for some tough times.

Didn’t click on the videos or read the tweets. If he committed a crime and is found guilty, good? That’s how criminal justice works? Meh, don’t see the point of the thread.

Hard to watch. Good reminder to be watchful over loved ones in nursing homes. One thing to read about such a thing, another to see it.

Be watchful over who you elect as your governor.

Blue state policy --> if you have COVID you're moved into a nursing home. That's why he was there in the first place.

[The father] said his son was moved to the nursing center because the 20-year-old was diagnosed with COVID-19 at the University of Michigan Hospital.

By no means am I writing off his behavior, but this article shows he has mental health problems. Whoevet thought it would be a good idea to put him in a nursing home should also be thrown on jail

My gosh. Moving a 20 year old China virus patient with mental health issues to a nursing home. Would be a press frenzy if this had happened in a red state.

That person, the Gov of Michigan, is on Biden's short list for VP candidates. The Left love her.

Without throwing ALL the staff of these facilities under the bus, if you have the means for homecare you should absolutely pull loved ones of the nursing homes, hospice. The bolded is absolutely true for too many employees. It is unfortunately hard to find help that is all of: cheap, competent, and caring. These facilities are often run at the cheapest possible cost and the care is unfortunately too often sub-par.
