Violence committed against anyone is wrong and should be prosecuted to the full extend of the law. All human life is of value.

Is that satisfactory, Seditionist 8?

PS - It is not our purview to post on all societal issues, so you can pitch in every once in a while and post something that is useful to the board then good for you and congrats, this is the first one I can remember in last six months I have been active on the board.

PSS - when people yell, "The Jews will not replace us." That is anti-Semitic obviously, got it kiddo.
Didn't expect to see you saying All Lives Matter

Palestineans were Born there, grew up there and living on that land, they owned it. The Jews were imported to Israel by the winners of WWII. If anything they should have been given a chunk of Germany. Supporting some ancient connection to a place is stupid and nonsensical. I actually wish the US had taken in any and all Jews, we would be that much stronger.

I guess you would support the American Indians taking their land back by force then? If they started bombing and bulldozing houses in your neighborhood you would say why not?
🙄🙄🙄

You think Israelis weren't born and raised there? Palestine isn't even a country.

The Jews would tell you they were repatriated there, not imported there. It was their country and they wanted it back. They believe the Palestinians are the invaders, not the other way around.

I don't disagree with your point about a different homeland for the Jews after WW2. They had several options that would have provided a peaceful life for their people, but chose Israel instead.

I don't see Israel as snow white in all of this, but the Palestinians are worse yet, and backed by Iran. The Jews aren't going anywhere, and neither are the Palestinians. There has to be compromise, but Palestine (read: Iran) refuses.

The way this has to start, is with the Palestinians (read: Iran) acknowledging Israel has a right to exist. Until they do so, there can be no peace & I have zero sympathy for Palestine.

When the Dakota want their ancestral land back, you might need to hand over the keys. The time span is shorter. The fall of Jerusalem and the beginning of the diaspora was in year 70. The final Dakota war here was 1862.
The Crusade to take back the Holy Land failed in 1291. Few land claims survive this kind of title search.
Im kind of a finders keepers guy, and you win land, you keep it, but you might need to continually fight for it if other parties don’t recognize your claim. If might makes right, more might will be righter.
I support Israel on levels I can’t get into because a certain moron will spread sheet anything I say and bring it up infinitely. But the unique land claim thing is a myth.

Oh really, the ones bulldozing Palistinian homes and building their own. That's precious.

American Indians should be killing the invaders then correct?

Every Israeli bulldozed a home? I was making fun of your logic genius.

American Indians should be killing the Democrats and socialists who stripped them of their dignity and eliminated private property and are directly responsible for their hopelessness, alcoholism, and poverty. But they gave them casinos and stopped the naming of mascots after their ancestors so it’s a wash.

Um, what? Begin with Democrats eliminated private property for triibes. The most successful tribes are those who did not accept private property gifts from the state but maintained them in community but I’d love to hear this story.

Evelyn Wood graduate.
Ok, did it not validate everything I said? We can separately discuss private allotments if you want, but i doubt it will disprove what I said, nor will it change the overall stats of poverty on reservations. No group gets more government assistance. Everything the left pines for exists on reservations. Free health care, public ownership of land, welfare, free education, half of jobs are public sector, and poverty rages.

What about all those rockets the Palestinians fired at Israeli residential neighborhoods to start this latest clash? The attack was unprovoked.

I don’t always agree with CRG but his posts in this thread are rational and correct.

As a newbie to the board the last thing I should do is wade into this argument—here goes, though: the 1937 Peel Report (investigating the 1936 violence between Arabs and Jews in the British Mandate) is both a tremendous history lesson and a great read: its core conclusion was: it’s a case of “right versus right” for which the remedy was partition. Ten years later, the UN Special Committee on Palestine and the General Assembly arrived at the same conclusion with the same recommendation. Both documents/reports are worth skimming or more if you have the time.

Unprovoked...🤣🤣🤣

Oh how I wish you were a Palistinian living in the territories.

If I was, I have no doubt I would be fighting Israelis.

So you're saying that the launching of rockets into residential neighborhoods in Israel was provoked by Israel existing?

Provoked by Israel bulldozing and stealing Palistinian homes, yes they have been doing that pretty much constantly. They also refuse to grant palistineans any building permits, they are essentially required to live their whole lives in limbo. I would fight if I were them, you would just lay down and die I guess ..

No one is claiming the rockets were provoked by bulldozing and stealing of Palestinians homes. You're making this up to justify the unprovoked attack on civilians.

Lol yea ok whatever.

I am making up the bulldozing of homes over the last several decades, the fact Israel steals land, the fact that they don't give palistineans building permits making everything they build a defacto illegal building.

Who is this "No One"? the western media, right left and center, yes you are correct, be better...🙄

Good to see more join in defense of a designated terrorist group. Really inspiring.

I don't discriminate based on what our government calls someone, I can make up my own mind. And I know without a doubt if I was a Palistinian in the occupied territories I would be a terrorist.

Sad that so many are utterly incapable of putting themselves in someone else's shoes.

LOL - you think you are Nobel by supporting Hamas. You really can’t make it up.

It’s not just our Gov’t by the way. It is many many Governments. Maybe they just can’t make up their own mind like you.

I am supporting the palistineans not living in an apartheid state dummy

And I am self aware enough to acknowledge that if I was in their position I would be fighting Israel.

Hamas is a symptom of the problem.
