“We definitely have a couple people in boots now,” said point guard Jasmine Powell, who played last weekend’s 94-68 loss to Iowa with a sprained ankle. “We’re trying to get out of the club of being hurt.”
Alexia Smith and Gadiva Hubbard also have been dealing with ankle sprains, and Hubbard, a fifth-year senior, remains questionable for Sunday’s noon tipoff against the Buckeyes.
