***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT RUTGERS IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

No Big Ten road game is a gimmie, including at Rutgers. We must establish the run game early, get some pressure on their QB and keep their crowd out of the game. They'd love nothing more than to beat a ranked team.

Do NOT overlook anyone!

First reply 13 hours after OP. People here don't sound too juiced.
Seems odd to say this about any Big Ten game but this is a no win situation game on par with a creampuff non-conf game. Win big and everyone says it was expected due to Rutgers being so bad, win small and everyone worries about what is wrong with the team, lose and the sky is falling.

Feel like the coaches will have the guys ready to go for this one, hopefully we come out quick, put them away early and don't leave any room for something flukey to happen.

I just bought my first place and am moving today. I will not get to see the beatdown, and it's actually bothering me more than I'd admit to my girlfriend.

I feel your pain. 2nd game in a row that I will be on a plane smack in the middle of game time.

I’ll be watching this as I hop to different bars/restaurants. May watch the second half at my hotel. Expecting a really dominant performance from the Gophers

Certainly the first thing u set up in the place is your TV. If u don’t already have cable installed that’s on you[emoji6][emoji23]

As a Minnesota fan, the premature grave dancing on Rutgers around here has me a bit worried.

Release the three headed monster! Get up early and don't let up. Ground and pound them to submission. Pass enough to stop them from loading the box.

I hope PJ is reminding the players that this is Rutgers homecoming. That the team has to come out swinging!

Exactly. I guess the first 3 games of the season have been wiped from people's memories. A slow start (i.e. fumble, a pick 6, blown coverage TD, etc) giving them any glimmer of hope is not out of the question.

LOL -- You are a true Gopher fan. I admit, I was tempted to drive down to that casino off I-35 and put a few hundred on Rutgers to cover +29. I don't think we cover and I think it would be a good bet. Still ---- Rutgers is REALLY bad and I was too lazy to drive down there.
