I was wrong, it wasn't on the goalline, it was in the middle of the field. Yes, he is credited as recovering a fumble, though it's impossible to actually see what happens. The snap was muffed, then just a mash of bodies, and eventually Ruschmeyer has the ball and hands it to the officials. He was in as fullback, and I believe was meant to push Tanner for a first down. It was on 4th and 1, the first drive of the 4th quarter. You can go to around 1:39:40 or so to watch it in the YouTube video.Just a side note, if you check his bio, it even mentions he recovered a fumble in the game. There weren't any fumbles on PATs, so had to be during a normal series. Either way, he has some game experience and Tanner mentioned him as well specifically as someone coming on in his presser last week
Thanks for sharing what Tanner said though. I believe it. If it has to be, and he's the next man up at Guard, then Fleck thinks he's the best man to do it.
Not even sure who would realistically be the next person after that to turn to. Guedet perhaps, though I think he is longer and meant for tackle, and then Beier and Boe, I guess.
