He'll be protected by being much smarter, better informed, better prepared, and actually listening to the questions.
So basically, he's going to cheat? "Preparing" and "paying attention" are something only a weak Socialist, Marxist would do. A real 'Murican Patriot would show up and wing it.

I agree with this. What I think you will get from Biden is a whole bunch of words presented as an "answer" that won't be an answer to anything in reality. Statements one can't argue with, but really mean nothing at all (think: I'm for America, I'm for peace, I will protect the working folks, etc., etc.).
So basically like every politician ever? I guess "Wrong. It was a fat guy on his couch. Everything is Jina's fault. You're the puppet. I have a huge brain and will consult myself. I know more than the generals. My healthcare plan is really terrific but you can't see it" is more substantive to you?

Biden is favored to win Minnesota
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-election-forecast/

We simulate the election 40,000 times to see who wins most often. The sample of 100 outcomes below gives you a good idea of the range of scenarios our model thinks is possible.

Which polls are influencing the forecast for Minnesota?

Right now, 57% of the forecast for Minnesota is based on polls and 43% relies on factors like demographics and past voting patterns. These are the most influential polls, as determined by how recently they were conducted, how many people they surveyed and how FiveThirtyEight grades the pollster.

I love that you are predicting the same from Biden as me. Nothing of substance. TBH - he doesn't seem capable of providing substance w/o being fed the answers.

You underestimate Biden. Needs to be fed answers? Give me a break.

OK. Then why does he need to know all questions ahead of time and have the answers on a teleprompter when asked?

This post is beyond dumb. Biden in his 40 plus years has done how many debates?? He knows exactly what he’s doing and the idea that a well respected journalist like Chris Wallace will allow him to see the questions beforehand is it utterly stupid.

Have you not noticed that the Biden of 1988 or even 2013 is long gone?

His brain is scrambled and he is an angry, confused, and incoherent old man.

Thats the talking point. They cant win on who Donald Trump is, so they need to invent something to drag the other candidate down.

They vilified Hilary, they're inventing "cognitive decline" for Biden.

Repeat a lie enough, dumb folks start to believe.

Good grief, dude. It's completely okay to say you're going to vote for Biden because you're a Democrat or even because you hate Trump but pretty much everyone in the country is willing to concede that he should really be in a group home right now. At least be honest a little bit

You have to admit, it works. Biden has been giving interviews and on TV almost constantly for weeks. Even Fox News said he hit a HR with is convention speech. But they still cling to the "Biden is so far gone he can't even speak" narrative. It's ridiculous.

4 years ago today Hillary had mild heat stroke while suffering from pneumonia. Gramps RockHard assured us that she was very near death from Parkinson's and wouldn't make it to election day.

Particularly rich is the "their news outlet is lying/embellishing so much about my guy Biden but there's no way that my news sources are lying/embellishing about Trump".

Basically, "I believe all the information/articles/tweets that support and reinforce my thoughts and opinions and all those that don't support it are lying and false".

Nobody seeks information anymore. Zero. Everyone seeks affirmation. Folks like JTF waste their entire day searching for articles and tweets that are only ever going to reinforce their beliefs; let's face it, if you look hard enough, you'll find exactly what you want to find and someone that tells you exactly what you wanted to hear. That gets proven here every day.

When you look at policies, it’s a non brainer in favor of trump. Do you work and want jobs, do you have money in the market, do you want to pay more in taxes, do you want to give up personal freedoms, do you want to live in a safe country? The alternative is reduced jobs, government control, open borders, radical change, oppressive taxes, dangerous cities, anything goes, defund police, I could go on.

They can take the names off the ballet, I don’t care who they are, I care about their policies. I won’t be having a personal relationship with any POTUS, just list the policies and let me vote.

No, I like some things Trump does. He is usually doing them for a different reason but I still agree. Mostly his stance on China.

Many of the Trump story's just fit, they align perfectly with what he says, that's why I assume they are true.

So you agree with my assessment of Biden - that he will say nothing of substance. For the first time you, me, and Howie all agree.
BTW - I care.

I saw Biden give a long, impromptu answer to a question in a crowd the other day. Surrounded by people so obviously no teleprompter. EVEN IF the question was planted and he had a prepared answer, it was still very impressive--much more so than remembering a sequence of five words, at least.

The perception that Trump is a good debater is nonsense. Hillary clobbered him in all three debates in 2016. Biden is going to do the same because:

- he knows the issues far better than Trump;
- he is significantly more articulate than Trump;
- he is less prone to make misstatements and say stupid things than Trump;
- most people will like his overall message about bringing the country together.

The only thing Trump knows how to do in debates is throw red meat to his supporters for them to chew on.

I think you're fooling yourself if you think Biden won't be protected in some fashion in the debate(s); he'll either have a teleprompter, the notes written down for the questions he will have ahead of time, or someone in his ear telling him what to say. I just don't see a single way on earth that he stands up on stage to speak without someone having told him what to say and how to respond. I just don't see it happening.

Yes I agree. I also have not heard anything of substance from Trump in the last year. He cannot say what he wants to do in second term. Senile..both of them.

Hillary had a 10% lead in MN the week before the 2016 election. She won by 1.5%.
