Racist. Who knew?

Pelosi is having a difficult time as the leader of the House Dems, not to mention the stupid stuff she says when she tries to appeal to the far left shortly after putting AOC and company back in line.

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/452546-ocasio-cortez-accuses-pelosi-of-persistent-singling-out-women-of-color-its

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) accused Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) of repeatedly singling out newly elected women of color in the House, saying that the veteran congresswoman's criticism has become "outright disrespectful."

Ocasio-Cortez made the remarks in an interview with The Washington Post late Wednesday after a day of heightened tensions between Pelosi and House Democrats.

“When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm’s distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood,” Ocasio-Cortez told the Post.

“But the persistent singling out … it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful … the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color,” she added...

Nah, she doesn’t care if it’s a white woman or a woman of color.

She cares about young, new members stepping out of line and acting too big for their britches.

I am a Democrat.

having said that - when is someone in the Dem Party going to tell AOC to shut her bleepin' mouth?

If the Dem leadership is afraid to stand up to AOC, they should all resign.

Since the AOC thread is completely worthless, I'll post this here. Raise your hand if you're shocked. CNC your hand should be up...

Isn't that what she's doing?

The funny thing is, nobody really cares that much about what she's saying and who she might be criticizing on the left side of the aisle; they're just pissed at the appearance of anarchy and disorganization and a complete sh*t show within the party.

Doesn't exactly lend itself to a great deal of confidence among the masses

Yet most of the Democrat candidates are flocking to her and Bernie’s extreme agenda. Bernie has had some of his base stolen out from under him by younger, more feminine candidates pitching healthcare for all (including illegals), GND stuff, wealth redistribution schemes, $15/hour minimum wage, etc.

I think Chuck and Nancy know this will be a big problem, but they can’t get the House Dems and Dem presidential candidates to slow down in the race to the left.

One thing we know is that the GOP is a well oiled machine led by a stable genius.

More fairy tales by people who constantly need to reinforce themselves that anyone left of center is from the USSR and that the Cold War is still ongoing and never stopped.

Go away, relics of the past. Your time is up.

They tried hard (so long NeverTrumpers,McCain, Flake, Kristol, Ryan, et al) and we should all be glad they failed. Whether you like him or not, he has exposed Washington DC for the cesspool it is, exposed the media for the partisans they are and he has run a fantastic economy. He will win big in 2020 if the economy continues in this way.

It is, and it is awesome.
She (AOC) represents nearly half the party and they are the activists of the party. They will continue to control the Dems until they get slaughtered (likely coming soon) or win (God forbid).

Nancy learned from watching Boehner and Ryan get steamrolled by the tea party and the freedom caucus. She’s getting the four of them under control. AOC is reduced to whining a little bit and the other three have quieted down.

You want that to be true so bad. But it isn't. Those 40 seats the GOP lost when they got thrashed in the last election are nothing like AOC's district.

Just keep lying to yourself. Hillary offed Seth Rich. All Dems are inherently evil Socialists and it's OK to hate them. etc. etc.

It’s funny, Trump and AOC are the different sides of the same coin. Both are outsiders who have completely alienated their respective party’s leadership. Each one of them are loved or hated by their own party’s base for disrupting the party’s apple cart. Both are hated by the opposition party because they express their radical views unfiltered and show unbridled contempt for the opposition party.

They are a sign of the times.

DE, you’re analytical skills are lacking. Trump and AOC may be similar in crassness, but their party leadership is acting quite differently toward them, probably b/c one is President and the other is a congresswoman in a solid blue district.

I have no idea who any of these people are, what their context is, or why they matter. Do you have a legitimate article you can post on the subject, or just this Tweet from a RW talking head?

You haven’t stated anything contrary to my main point or anything I would disagree with. Other than the comments on my analytical skills.

The only category they share is "Politicians The Fellas have a hard on for" but in different ways of course.
I thought there was only one way to have a “hard on”, but maybe you’re bi.

Now AOC says Pelosi wants to see her get “death threats”. Nancy is getting treated like a Republican by AOC.

For cncmin, the following article includes mostly factual quotes by AOC.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/49411/ocasio-cortez-suggests-pelosi-wants-her-get-death-ryan-saavedra

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) walked back her suggestion that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was targeting her because Pelosi was racist and instead appeared to suggest that Pelosi was targeting her because Pelosi wants her to get "death threats."

"It's singling out four individuals, and knowing the media environment that we're operating in, knowing the amount of death threats that we get, knowing the amount of concentration of attention," Ocasio-Cortez told CNN's Manu Raju. "I think it's just worth asking why."

Ocasio-Cortez's remarks came in response to the escalating fight that she has had with Pelosi in recent months.

Earlier this week Ocasio-Cortez suggested to The Washington Post that Pelosi was targeting her and Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) — who all champion extreme left-wing policies —because Pelosi was racist.

"When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm's distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood," Ocasio-Cortez said. "But the persistent singling out . . . it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful . . . the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color."

Here’s another article on the AOC-Pelosi dust up.

Again, with lots of factual quotes cncmin. And, advice from Rep Dan Crenshaw.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/49386/dan-crenshaw-has-message-pelosi-after-ocasio-james-barrett

...The battle, which really has been brewing since day one when Ocasio-Cortez participated in a protest a radical group staged at Pelosi's office, ramped up when the House Speaker took a clear shot at the tweet-happy freshman rep. and her "Squad" of radical freshmen Democrats — Ilhan Omar (MN), Rashida Tlaib (MI) and Ayanna Pressley (MA) — for pushing back against her leadership. "All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world. But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got," Pelosi told The New York Times Saturday.

"That public 'whatever' is called public sentiment," Ocasio-Cortez snapped back Saturday. "And wielding the power to shift it is how we actually achieve meaningful change in this country."

Amid a series of reports that "The Squad" are "struggling" with how to respond to Pelosi putting them in their place, Ocasio-Cortez suggested to The Washington Post on Wednesday that race has something to do with it.

"When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm's distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood," Ocasio-Cortez told the Post. "But the persistent singling out . . . it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful . . . the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color."

The dig prompted Crenshaw, likewise a freshman lawmaker but on the other side of the aisle, to send a sympathetic message to Pelosi. "Madam Speaker, welcome to the true nature of identity politics — where you’re accused of being racist for no reason at all, and where intellectually lazy insults are used against you as a way to replace substantive debate of your argument or idea," wrote Crenshaw...

I don’t care about your sexual preferences murderer, but you definitely have a hard on for trump. Whether it’s figurative or literal isn’t important. The fervency is definitely there. Same for humble Beggar, craig, deuce, charter school, med school, less, et. al. He keeps you guys up at night and wakes you up in the morning.
