The gift that keeps giving! Mikey wanted that Hollywood Forbidden Fruit and biting that apple is now costing him(?) apparently?

  • The Daily Mail reported in January that Mike Lindell had a "secret nine month romance" with Jane Krakowski.
  • Both Lindell and Krakowski denied the alleged relationship in the report. Lindell later sued the British tabloid for defamation.
  • He revised the lawsuit Tuesday to add that his nonprofit's relationships with churches has been impacted as a result of the report.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell revised his lawsuit against the Daily Mail Tuesday, adding a claim that churches are disassociating with him because of the British tabloid's claims about an alleged romance with actress Jane Krakowski.

The Daily Mail published a report in late January 2021 claiming that the MyPillow founder had a "secret nine-month romance" with the "30 Rock" star. Both Lindell and Krakowski denied the report.

"Jane has never met Mr. Lindell. She is not and has never been in any relationship with him, romantic or otherwise," a publicist for Krakowski said in a statement at the time. Lindell said he had "never even heard" of the actress before.

In the week after the report was published, Lindell filed a lawsuit against the Daily Mail for defamation, claiming the article had caused him "tremendous harm to his personal and professional reputation and prospective economic opportunities, as well as causing him significant humiliation and emotional distress."

The Daily Mail did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to court documents, Lindell specifically cites the report's claim that he gifted alcohol to Krakowski during their alleged relationship.

"As a recovering addict and alcoholic who frequently writes and speaks publicly about his spiritual triumphs over substance abuse, Mr. Lindell is horrified by the Defendants' fabricated and very public accusations," the lawsuit read.

On Tuesday, Lindell revised the lawsuit against the British tabloid, adding an amendment about how the report impacted the associations with the Lindell Recovery Network, a "faith-based" nonprofit founded in 2019 that "provides services for various forms of addiction, mostly substance, and behavioral addiction, along with co-morbidities such as anxiety and addiction," according to the lawsuit.

"Mr. Lindell's name is attached to the network and his personal story as a Christian who came back from his addiction to become a success is emphasized," the lawsuit read.

Lindell claimed that the organization has only been able to partner with "a handful of churches," and the lawsuit said churches "may be pulling out because of Defendants' allegations about Mr. Lindell."

It was not immediately clear as to why the report may have impacted the LRN's affiliations with Christian networks and churches, and Insider reached out to MyPillow and to Lindell for more information.

One would think aspiring M.Div here would know something about bearing false witness.

Alas, unfortunately I cannot measure up to your critiques, as I my dear kiddo am a sinner and well aware of it, the question begs as you judge me yet again, are you cognizant of it for yourself?

Some day I will grow past the need to childishly lambast the buffoonery's of the MPGs of the world and will be grateful when I'm there. However, it's all in good fun from my end and God, believe it or not, has a sense of humor!! After all, LOL he made us Gopher Fans!!!

He's one funny dude in my experience (I consider him my best friend and not some far away non-personal entity just waiting to meet out judgement on me, left, right and center; as my fundamental truth is God's love and patience with me, not his anger and judgement. Give God a hug today when you tell Him you love Him and thank him for all your blessings when you say Grace before you eat - He's got a hard job and needs our Love and Praises. Or try singing this throughout the day, Praise be to your Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless Glory! It's catchy, fun and the Holy Spirit digs it.

Some day maybe you and I will be Blessed enough to have this beautiful verse sink deep in our bones-

Matthew 7:2 -

For with the same judgment you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Daniel Mace New Testament for according as ye judge others, ye shall be judged yourselves: the measure you mete, shall be measured to you again.

Have a great day, unless you've made other plans😁😁😁😁😁😁

While your response is clever it neglects the seriousness of the charge. Assuming you're a brother in Christ you should expect to have your sin called out. Not as being judgemental, but as in love. Bearing false witness is serious stuff. You may think it's funny but those who testified against Jesus in front of the Sanhedrin accused Him falsely. When you do this you are essentially bringing someone into the Dock of God's court and accusing them of sin. I'll wont give you a hint as to who our accuser is but I would assume you're smart enough to figure it out. Is that the spirit you have within you? As for judging me for judging you - well, it appears you have a bit to learn.

You have a great day as well. :)

Yes, some Fundamentalits love to feel that they have special insight into the Bible and are morally pure (usually the more pious the more sinful: Falwell, Baker, Haggard etc..), so they have the responsibility to judge others (Matthew 18:15 btw refers to correcting someone who directly sins against you, not someone else.; it also states to do so in private. To wit -

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

The stance you espouse seemingly directly contradicts numerous scriptures as well, such as the following which come to mind -

Matthew 25: 31-46 and John 8:7. Sorry i go with what Jesus directly says all the time or what is in the Gospels vs. Paul in his Epistles. Paul's letter were to specifically addressed to different communities and their specific challenges in following Christ (context!!! - WooHoo), he hasn't written me yet the last time I checked. Do you per chance have his email?

Also, I do not take the Bible 100% literally as you do - my faith, my choice, unless you believe freedom of religion doesn't apply to me.

My Bible teaches me to pray for those who offend me (Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us), I believe it's in the Lord's Prayer, and I'm glad my faith celebrates it at every service, just as we do the body and blood of Jesus.

I will continue to proclaim my Love for God and accept his Grace for my sins and imperfectly stumble through Life, while I enjoy his Heaven on Earth (Luke 17: 20-21). I will also continue my ministry with the poor and homeless and focus on God's charge for his believers, as Love is an action the last time I checked

John 3:17 -
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Luke 10:27 -
The man answered, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

James 1:22 (Hint, it's in the back) -
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

You can go back to whatever you do, but be careful those serpents bite! I have now prayed that God forgives you, for you know not what you do. As my time is valuable and your only agenda is to shame me, so you can feel superior to me (in a non-fun chatboard manner), I will now bid you a permanent adieu. No further replies from me with be coming, as I will not read any of your other posts, so do what you will or won't sir. So you won't be able to wind me up like a top, nice try though and I forgive thee again: see how easy that is - all things are possible through Christ.

Nope, I'm a liberal Catholic and a Bible Nerd. If you look what Jesus talks about it, in today's parlance it would be considered Socialist IMO. Love your enemies, help the poor and divest yourself of material possessions where possible as they limit your ability to be close to those who need your help; "the least." I use to wear Ferragamo shoes, with custom make Zegna suites and Cartier watches and that was my impediment to a true relationship with God.

Edit: to clarify, I'm not saying that there is something wrong with having nice things, however, I was becoming a business D-Bag and I knew that's not who I was and needed to change. I quite my corporate life on Independence Day of 2019 with my charge to work with the poor, homeless and children. I'm not lookin for any Hosannas, as it was self preservation, but it maps to who I was in my younger days and feels clean and right. I try not to come off as holier than thou, even though I know I'm smug, petty and insecure, but the joy is in the journey as my first true spiritual mentor told me ad nauseum.

There's no doubt Jesus would get called a Socialist booed and jeered off the stage at the QOP convention if he came back today.

There's a cool shirt on Amazon called "Jesus the Original Socialist" which is on my buy list this summer.

How nice to have this type of conversation without rancor or recrimination - txs Howie!

The signed bible thing was low hanging fruit. For the sake of the marriage, I became one, "liberal Catholic"(in training), as well.

It's partially why I jump on bad policing issues. Disproportionately, the poor and disenfranchised, etc. Life mattering from the womb to the tomb is a pretty easy thing to rally around.

This story is odd as hell but if he actually did have a 9 month affair with her he is much more successful with ladies than I would’ve guessed
