Of course I don't like Omar, I think she's an idiot and a bad representative from our state. AOC on the other hand I love for the entertainment because she isn't a representative of my state.

Thanks for agreeing with me the next step for a political star is to move up. So where is Omar pegged to move up to? If she's such a star people must be talking about that move up? Leadership roles etc? You are so far off on this it isn't even funny anymore, you are just embarrassing yourself but keep digging.
How would I know what internal talks Dem leaders have about pegging Ilhan? Problem is, as you know, she is going to be exposed for immigration tax and marriage fraud, which will end her political career. Dems I'm sure know this and are going to milk her for all of her intersectional power, before blaming white men and Trump.

Two pages ago claims she is a rising star, now claims her political career is over!

Keep it up this is great!

No different than a rising star in any sport having their career ended by injury. Why are we even having this discussion? You have a terrible definition of "rising star" or "star" and when called out you got even more vague. Done, enjoy the last word.

You ended up agreeing with me that a rising star or star in politics means they have upward movement?

He gave a good rebuttal speech, he's young, he's telegenic, and he's got a name that carries weight. That's the definition of a rising star.
I was making a joke. And if S2 forced me to make a list of actual dem rising stars, he would surely be on it.

the ginger?
Yep. He'll probably win the Senate primary. So you'll have a young Kennedy on the rise as a U.S. Senator. Assuming he beats Markey, he's got presidential ambitions and/or people pushing it on him for 2024 or 2028.

No doubt. The Kennedy name is everything. It's basically why Beto was a "rising star". He looks like one. But is he really telegenic? America isn't ready for a red head.

Agree. The Kennedy name is dynasty. I also see bright futures for both Barron Trump and Marlon Bundo.

Omar was new, this guy would be new. I assume both would represent this district just as well, and so I would vote for either over whoever the Reps run. I do think Omar has "put herself out there" a bit much, for a freshman. As well, I do believe she had something "fishy" going on with a plausible sham-marriage. In my opinion (not the law), the specific circumstances of that crime aren't important enough to warrant deporting her, or necessarily even disqualifying her from serving in Congress. But I do believe she has not been fully honest about it, probably because the actual laws differ quite a bit from my opinion.

Omar at least had the two years in the State Legislature, so she wasn’t brand-new when she ran. This guy has a picture of himself wearing a Gophers hat featured prominently on his website! Based on that alone, I’d certainly consider voting for him in the Primary.

This is his website: https://johnmasonmn.com/

The district is exceptionally diverse, with Somalis being an active, vibrant sub-population. They voted for one of their own. She has warts, like all people do.

If the Jews want to back a Jewish candidate, if the whites want to back a white candidate, if the blacks want to back a black candidate, if the Hispanics want to back a Hispanic candidate, etc etc, fine. Let the best person, who appeals to the most people, win the race. That's how it's supposed to work.

You‘ve turned your back on Dangerous Toys for Moslem terrorism and socialism. Sad. Very sad.
