I did notice an article about her on CNN today. It was not a positive one. Even more proof you are just obsessed.
Yeah, like I said. I hadn’t noticed, but looked since you mentioned it. It’s the old leader of the party (Pelosi) throwing shade on the new leader (AOC).

But AOC has gone too far with this stupidity, most likely b/c of her meteoric rise, and could begin her demise. AOC started believing she is the Left’s new spokesman. Good for Nancy.

Well duh, why would you look at a left wing site when you already filled your spank bank with your right wing site?

AOC says all air travel would be eliminated under her Green Deal. :cool02:
You guys are acting like she's the first politician to say stupid things. I mean Trump said Mexico would pay for his wall yet here we are with him asking congress to write him a check for billions....

When asked the specifics didn't he say Mexico won't literally write a check for it, rather the money will come from them via a renegotiated NAFTA?

Yeah way down the road after I'm sure a lot of people smarter than him told him Mexico wasn't going to pay for it, including Mexico. Do we really need to go down the list of stupid sh!t Trump has said? He's said plenty and has back tracked plenty. AOC may be as dumb as they come, many of us have been saying this for months. Are you really surprised her great plan is so vague and stupid?

All Dems will take a stand against climate change just like all R's are deeply concerned about the national debt. Actual legislation? It'll go the same way I reckon.
This is far beyond a climate change proposal. Seriously whacked.

But you compare it to national debt reduction?

I didn’t read all of them, but most of them are just misspeaks.

AOC isn’t misspeaking. She really means what she says.
OK i found other links, there was one with 20 republicans making stupid statements about climate change but i didn't want to turn this into a climate change conversation. They all meant their statements. The point is politicians say stupid sh!t. You guys are acting like it's never happened before. Your boner for her is raging.

So we should just ignore that three front runners for the Dem ticket today endorsed a plan to eliminate nuclear power and all fossil fuels in 10 years, rebuild every building, give everyone everything for free, eliminate cows cars and airplanes, and say it will pay for itself and actually make us richer.

Meanwhile we should just be furious that Trump wants to build a wall for $5B.

What do you mean? Altering or replacing every building in the country is an easy first step. Replacing air travel is an easy next domino to fall. By the time those two are finished, we'll be making so much money we can easily afford free college and healthcare.

I think what Howie is trying to say (and feel free to correct me) is that this isn't actually legislation being proposed. This is just talk. You know like how republicans for 8 years under Obama talked about the national debt but then when they are in control of everything do nothing but add to it? No actual legislation is coming out of her proposal.

Politicians say stupid stuff all the time. Very little of the really dumb ideas politicians have are immediately endorsed and supported by that party’s presidential front runners.
I appreciate that you guys want to pretend this isn’t happening but it is.

Yes. It's a Green Wet Dream. But it's core is about climate change, so they can't say they are against it. It's a non-binding resolution not actual legislation. It means almost nothing.

Imagine a non-binding R resolution that says "we want to cut taxes AND reduce the national debt" and gave a bunch of vague 2 wet-dream ideas how to do it (eliminate SS, welfare, Medicare, the department of education, the highway department, the "oops:" department) Every R Presidential candidate would endorse it, giving no mind to the particulars and knowing they would never vote for an actual bill to cut those programs. This isn't any different.

It's really funny how bent out of shape KGF and S2 are getting.

No you shouldn't ignore it. Work yourself into a nice froth about. Socialism is coming! Communism next! Seizing the means of production is less than 5 years out.

They didn't do that. The plan calls for 100% carbon free, not 100% renewables. It mirrors California's language to allow nuclear and fossil fuels paired with carbon sequestration.

E4. This is e4.

Yep. If it was Jill Stein and Bernie proposing this, no one would care. But AOC, they freak out. She's such a scary socialist but so hot. She's living in their heads.

They definitely seem to never stop thinking about her, especially KGF. His obsession is scary, she should probably get a restraining order against him soon.

Just like Trump's tax cuts will pay for themselves. With magical growth of 8%, 9%, 10% forever. Ignoring reality is not a partisan issue. The difference is, we're not pretending that she's not full of $%%
