SO how does this work for standings in the B1G then? If the Gophers win out, but wisconsin plays more games and thus gets more points, what happens?

Shit, now things get messy. We made it so far.

Obviously points will not be the determining factor with uneven games. Point percentage or something else will now determine the conference title winner.

If the Gophers go 3-1:
16-6-0
(48 points - no longer relevant on its own)
.727 winning percentage
.727 point percentage

If the badgers go 5-1:
17-7-0
(52 points - no longer relevant on its own)
.708 winning percentage
.722 point percentage

If the Gophers go 4-0:
17-5-0
(51 points - no longer relevant on its own)
.773 winning percentage
.773 point percentage

If the badgers go 6-0:
18-6-0
(55 points - no longer relevant on its own)
.750 winning percentage
.764 point percentage

In both situations wisconsin's argument would be had the Gophers played PSU, they would not have gone 2-0 and therefore they should be the champions. This may lead to the behind the curtain calculation Hockey East is doing to be used for the Big Ten.

Prepare for a mess

Maybe the series gets re-scheduled to the week in between the "end" of the regular season and the B1G Hockey Tournament if Penn State's health situation is better by then?

Penn State's tweet said it will likely not be rescheduled.

Man, Penn State hasn't played a game since Jan. 29th.

Makes you wonder when/if they'll get back on the ice.

Will be very interesting to see what they do with the B10 tournament if PSU can't play

Was more meaning will they play it or scrap it
Will they play the conference tournament? Of course they will... That determines a qualifier for the national tournament. And they did it with just six teams for years.
