Which part of what I posted was false?

All I posted were the president's own words. Too bad that you hate it.
Go back and reread the response and then what you posted out of context.

If he's lying, it's bad; if he's telling the truth, it's worse. Either way, he's pathetic.
Why do you or anyone care what safe drug the president takes? I don't any more what safe drug you take.

It's an incredible exception for people who are prescribed this medication. The U is doing a decent size study of about 1100 participants. There are no issues with any side effects.
Link to the report that says this? Or, you mean you were just guessing?

If you can't see it there is just no explaining it.
Fake.

I knew there was not actual logically argument that supports it being out of context. You falsely just claim it is, and then run away when asked to explain why. Fake news!

As I suspected, you were distorting the actual quote.

"
Boulware said they do not select anyone for hydroxychloroquine clinical studies who have pre-existing heart issues. And he said of the 2800 participants in three separate trials, none has experienced serious or life-threatening side effects.
"

You said any. Fake news

I believe you’re referring to the U‘s Dr Lofgren, Infectious Disease Specialist. You may have seen that she appeared on Shannon Bream’s Fox News @ Night show.

Dr. Lofgren clearly believes in the theoretical prospects for HCQ as a prophylactic treatment to PREVENT CV-19 are very possible, just as Trump is using it. (link to tv segment under New Trials Underway...).

But Biden, and a few morons here, disparage the thought and compare it to injecting Clorox? Total idiot just spraying insults at Trump without knowing what he’s talking about.

I didn't see the Fox News spot. Here's the one I was referring to which was on last night:

for all the "this is dangerous!" fainting couch pearl clutching that Howie and his team participate in, what is the danger in calling a drug which scores of people take for all kinds of ailments: poison, chemotherapy, will kill you, dangerous, etc. We know, you just want to dunk on Trump, so you don't think one step ahead.

That is interesting.
Is it that interesting that someone can invent a fake person, to have a fake dialog with, so they can tell a story about that fake dialog?

People do fake crap all the time, for attention.

Like I've been saying, people want to believe crazy shit. All they need is for someone to say it out loud. That triggers them into fully signing up.

This is going to sound crazy, but way back in the days when the Prodigy service was the thing (this is pre AOL), I had regular conversations with Scott Adams. He's a sharp fellow, and was still a working engineer back then (in addition to budding cartoonist). I don't think he is being dishonest.

Fair enough. The "conversation" doesn't disprove in any way that the President is wrong and setting a terrible example for taking a drug that is proven ineffective, and can cause serious side-effects if overdosed.

- Hydroxycloroquine has been in use by our military for 65 years. Virtually any US soldier who served in the tropics took it to combat malaria.

- Doctors have been prescribing it for their mostly elderly arthritis patients & immuno-compromised Lupus patients for the past 50 years.

- The VA was giving it to 42k patients a day PRIOR to Covid-19.

- It's the #1 most prescribed drug on the planet for treatment of Covid-19

- Is the most effective drug for treatment available at this time, according to thousands of doctors.

^^^ yeah! Let's just randomly give people chemotherapy! That's the most common treatment for cancer, let's see if it does something good for a completely unrelated disease!

Yes. And if you think it’s not effective for covid, that’s a perfectly fine opinion to hold. For you to choose not to take it, up to you.
Losing your shit because Trump thinks it shows promise, losing your shit and accusing him of lying because he said he’s taking it? That’s lunacy. Stop it.

I don’t either. Cross reference his list with the belief of our resident Prog team like cnc, Howie and stocker, it really doesn’t even mildly stretch belief. MSM underwent a huge shift in the Obama years and it has accelerated wildly under Trump. If you rely on them for your information and truth, you are going to be misinformed. And a lot of people are in that boat. The only competing info they’re seeing is broken into tweets and video segments filtered thru a progressive lens.

I just read that the govt health care system in Costa Rica has been prescribing it for Covid-19 patients as soon as they test positive. They have 10 deaths total. Compare that to a similar sized population in Minnesota with 757.

Hydroxychloroquine: The Drug Costa Rica Uses Successfully To Fight Covid-19

“In Costa Rica, we have been using hydroxychloroquine since we had a teleconference meeting with personnel from China, personnel from Shanghai and Wuhan,” said Mario Ruíz, Medical Manager of the Costa Rican Social Security System (CCSS, or Caja)".

“They were the ones who attended the emergency that arose in China, and hydroxychloroquine has its specifications and specific doses. Thanks to this help provided by the Chinese scientific community and a therapeutic care manual, we are using these treatments at the established doses.”

The drug has proven to be successful in patients who have been treated currently,” Ruíz said last week.

"We were told that it is key that a mild or moderate patient does not become severe. They explained that they used hydroxychloroquine for this, but never azithromycin (an antibiotic for respiratory infections) due to the associated cardiac complications,” Ruiz said.

“The prescription must be carried out as part of the medical record, individually for each patient, considering the benefit-risk ratio, pre-existing health conditions, medications they take and the possible drug interactions, that is why it is not given to all patients,” said the director of Pharmacoepidemiology."

"The Minister of Health indicated that this drug “is the most widely used treatment to treat patients with malaria and is widely used throughout the world. In this sense, the complications that are seen are minimal if the doses that are already indicated are respected”.

"She emphasized that the purpose pursued with the use of hydroxychloroquine is to mitigate the progression of the disease."

“This is the work of a whole team. It starts with early detection and continues with the measures that are being taken at all levels as part of a strategy that, for now, is paying off,” said Mario Ruiz.

Only reason anyone here is (still, laughably) trying to push HCQ is because of Trump cultism.

If he never would've said anything about it, none of you would say a thing about it.

This. It's unbelievable given data in a vacuum, but given the depths of the mis/disinformation these rubes will believe, it's sadly very, very believable.
