There is diffence between reporting facts with a slant and fear mongering. The fear mongering is basically just click bait, what I don't understand is the millions of people who fall for it.

"Interpretive reporting"?

I think you may have "jumped the shark" when you used the "mainstream media" cliche/meme. You betrayed a bias.
I provided the companies that use interpretive reporters. I'm not sure what beef you have with this, other than attempting to bury your head in the sand.

And yet we saw people weeping and wailing in fear after the 2016 Trump Presidency. Did you not see the fear mongering the past 4 years despite a record breaking economic upturn?
Be honest. Admit that the major media outlets fostered fear in the people in an attempt to polarize and build up market shares.

The Trump presidency has first fulfilled, then far surpassed the sum of all of our fears. And our long national nightmare isn't quite over yet.

Now folks...the above statement is fear mongering at its finest. A big lie, told long enough, is believable. And, Murray, what you just posted is an example of your media big lie which polarizes the nation.

After he was elected everybody was afraid that Trump was going to embolden Right wing lunatics. This has happened exponentially. The economy was doing great (Has been on the up swing since 2009) and now we will probably be in another decade long recession. We will unite when everybody realizes how much damage Trump has caused.

Calls for unity are really just calls for mercy--and pleas for avoiding having to register a vote on impeachment. They do not want to go on the record because they know that more disturbing facts about the invasion are going to come down, and they won't be able to take their vote back.

Donald Trump is then worst thing to happen to this nation in my lifetime.

Nobody in the media convinced me of that, and that opinion isn't recently formed.

At this point, arguments in favor of Trump can be dismissed out-of hand, and the person making the argument as well.

Enormous damage to democracy.

Yeah, it's looking like we have only scratched the surface of this, as far as what the public knows is concerned. Much more — and much worse — will be revealed as time goes by, unfortunately.

And it's certainly beginning to look like it won't be just the rioters themselves who take the fall. Time to order up more orange jumpsuits, I'm afraid.

You are avoiding the topic of our discussion regarding interpretive reporting by major media outlets. I take this as your concession to my point.

I hate to be the one to break this to you (and many others here); Trump is far, FAR from the most significant thing contributing to your miserable existence. I know this all seems euphoric right now but very shortly after inauguration day, you're going to wake and realize your life still sucks, because your life was going to suck anyway.

I get that it's been comforting to have a single source these last 3-4 years to attribute all of your inadequacies and shortcomings and life's failures, but reality is going to come hard.

Donald Trump's failure to stop the insurrection is a punishable crime. He should be impeached. His economic policies gave more jobs to minorities than any other administration had ever done. Minorities were making money and able to invest in buying houses and moving into middle class lifestyles. Any sane person will acknowledge this. The social class gap was diminishing, but marxist, democratic socialists would not want that information known so they foment more and more racial divide. Put the blame where it rightfully goes.

“If you live in a glass house, don’t throw stones.”

“mend your own fence, before mending your neighbors.”

Point being; both sides stop slinging. Check what Your biases are. It’s really hard.

If you (meaning the collective you), think you didn’t play a role in all this, then you are wrong.

As social democrats gain power, we will see the dismantling of the uneasy coalition the Democratic Party has built to destroy the so called "moral majority" of the right.
That coalition of ideological misfits will be destroyed by the winner in the Democratic Party power struggle. Look for those in the party who do not support socialism to be systematically weeded out. I expect religious groups like Muslims to be the first to go if they do not kowtow to socialist ideology.

The Big Lies of the last 4 years all come from the same place: Donald Trump and his delusional cult.

Looks to me like they knew something you didn't. Turns out nothing said about Trump was as bad as the reality.

Your hyperbole is fascinating.
Now, list the policies that are horrible, which President Trump signed into law. I await your list.

You prefer a party in lockstep?
To me that is an extremely disturbing prospect.

You have major loser energy. You cannot handle any criticism of Trump. No wonder you have half the board on ignore.

Again, your comprehension is quite dim as to what I actually said. I'm not convince I can clear up your misconception so I choose to let you graze...

You criticise democrats because they have party with multiple views. How am I supposed to take it?

And that, folks, is the extent of the list that Wally can provide. His depth of evidence is truly impressive.
I am lazy, but Jan 6 makes all pale in comparison. I think he deserves to be tried as traitor and executed.

LOL, you really didn't comprehend a thing I said about the Democratic Party did you. That's some impressive ignorance on your part. I would say "go back and reread," but who am I kidding. Your attempt to reread won't help clear things up for you.

It’s a fruitless endeavor. You could point out Trump’s terrible environmental and labor policies and he’s just going to screech “communist!” at you. MennoSota is a fundamentally unserious person - don’t bother.

Again, did you read anything I said about Donald Trump?
However, "tried as a traitor and executed" sounds right out of the Communist Party playbook, so at least you're staying true to your ideology.
