“Best Buy has made the decision to stop providing campaign contributions to the 147 members of Congress who voted in objection to certifying the presidential election results,” the company said in a statement to The Hill.

The announcement comes as multiple corporations have cut off political donations either at all or to those who challenged the results after the breach of the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday that left five dead.

The Republicans will be forced to disown these traitors because the Republicans can't live without the corporate campaign money.

Are they donating to the NRCC, NRSC, RNC, Chamber of Commerce, etc.?

If so, then it's worthless.

It will take a long time and a lot of money to make parallel-universe clones of all of these businesses and the products and services they provide.

OP stupid enough to believe this. New Flash, as soon as any of these corps or entities need something, those donations will be there, you buffoon. OP also too stupid enough to understand how donating to political candidates work. Smart businesses send piles of money to both sides to cover their bases. OP thinks they are onto something big here though, and of course it makes for BIG HEADLINES

But keep thinking this is some kind of breaking news with major implications.

Including the politicians who voted against certification last time? This is great. The speed with which this is happening is awesome. GOP dying would be a great step for the country.

Not sure the state of things should be taken so lightly. Conservatives see how unfairly trump has been treated for 4 years, how the media and academic world are stacked against them, the mayhem of the past summer.
My real concern is what if the left continues its power grab. Obama has already said they should get rid of the filibuster and biden has said he will consider it. This could very well lead to court packing and DC and PR coming in as states. Also not unlikely that such things as conservative podcasts will be banned from platforms which would be a big deal. Under such a scenario, I am not sure that the breaking point wouldnt be reached for conservatives. Again, not sure the state of things should be taken so lightly.

Joe Manchin's vote is required to get anything done. He's not going to vote for any of things you're so very afraid of. Neither is Tester or about 6 others.

Yes, that is the hope. Manchin and any others will be under a lot of pressure if repubs frustrate dem plans so hopefully they remain strong and honor their word.

Eff em all. DC and PR statehood before the 1st hundred days are over.
