Soooo, this is why Nervous Nancy didn't want to proceed with a trial. She is the one with blood on her hands.

Here is the Fox News take on that story--It isn't that cut and dried.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tr...tional-guard-troops-at-capitol-on-day-of-riot

Good responce in Fox news comments

Don't these people put anything in writing? There isn't any kind of document, a text, a tweet, and email requesting the national guard or expressing concern about crowd size? Should there not be some kind written request and denial for support? Our government makes regular people complete forms for even the smallest request. There is not so much as a post-it note somewhere with the request?

Trump was obviously concerned that some irresponsible person might whip that crowd to a bloodthirsty frenzy, and send them marching up Pennsylvania Avenue, while urging them to "Fight like hell!".

Man, that Trump guy is soooooooo prescient! It's like he can see into the future!

Dear God how fast some of you forget. It was reported everywhere soon after the riots that Capitol Police turned National Guard support in the days leading up to Jan 6th (& FBI help as it unfolded). Not even two months later and you guys are pretending like that didn’t happen. Incredible.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Three days before supporters of President Donald Trump rioted at the Capitol, the Pentagon asked the U.S Capitol Police if it needed National Guard manpower. And as the mob descended on the building Wednesday, Justice Department leaders reached out to offer up FBI agents. The police turned them down both times, according to senior defense officials and two people familiar with the matter.

Quit being a tool. That isn’t even close to what I said. It is pretty easy to see why you choose to be dishonest about it now. Predictable and transparent.

I was commenting on the multiple posts saying Trump was lying when he wasn’t. The info has been out there for almost 2-months and discussed on here extensively, yet suddenly all the lefties “just forgot”.

Yet it was Trump's defence secretary who had to approve National Guard, he didn't, I am sure with No input from Trump. This was posted in another thread.

The Insurrectionists are back.

WASHINGTON — Capitol Police say they have uncovered intelligence of a "possible plot" by a militia group to breach the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, nearly two months after a mob of supporters of then-President Donald Trump stormed the iconic building to try to stop Congress from certifying now-President Joe Biden's victory.

The threat appears to be connected to a far-right conspiracy theory, mainly promoted by supporters of QAnon, that Trump will rise again to power on March 4. That was the original presidential inauguration day until 1933, when it was moved to Jan. 20.
Online chatter identified by authorities included discussions among members of the Three Percenters, an anti-government militia group, concerning possible plots against the Capitol on Thursday, according to two law enforcement officials who were not authorized to speak publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity. Members of the Three Percenters were among the extremists who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Trump Hotel Rates Are Over $1,300 on March 4—the Date in a Wild QAnon Theory
Booking a room will cost $1,331—almost triple the daily rate in March.

They appear to be endlessly gullible.

Also, they must be doing pretty well financially! $1,300 for a hotel room?
