The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

Personally I'd rather see the left focus on real problems like this article rather than the non stop nonsense. The constant outrage allows cover for crony crap like this.
That's fair, but if House Oversight started holding hearings, Republicans would spend all their energy defending the conflicts of interest, and people would soon be labelling it nonsense.

Because they've been holding hearings and investigations non stop since even before he was elected. Maybe take a breath.
And to the above, I mean we're supposed to be outraged over $17k?

It was $17k per month. That's one example. You should read the article:

Again, $17k a month (for a government that spends $4 trillion a year) balanced against the allegations that he's an authoritarian ushering in 1984 style government. You have to pick a lane. 5 posts a day raging against minor crap drowns your message out. It's exhausting.

Ah, yes, I remember how mad you got because people were complaining about Benghazi AND the Clinton Foundation.

You can only call out Trump for one thing! Otherwise you're driving independent thinkers like 2 straight into MAGA-land.

First off, congress is going to pass a bill and trump will sign it. If it was a bill which benefited every company, trumps company will also benefit. If it benefits real estate, trump will benefit. Trump isn’t doling out a trillion dollars himself. It’s a good try to set him up for a gotcha.

Except Republicans wanted to allocate $500B that Mnuchin could distribute himself

EDIT: And then not have to disclose for 6 months.

Nobody is accusing Trump of doling out a trillion dollars.

Conversely, nobody--not even you--doubts he will have his small but greedy hands open to accept a good chunk of your and my money.

After all, we both know that's why he became president in the first place...for the betterment of Donald Trump.

His businesses are getting hit the same as other travel businesses. If congress passes a bailout which helps travel businesses, it really doesn't make any sense to benefit everything except Trump. If you can think objectively, that is.

Agreed, of course some of this will help Trump's businesses too. The point of it is to help EVERY business affected by this as much as possible. His businesses are also affected. Are people going to comb through every million spent and make sure none of it goes to any businesses the senators or congressmen have their greedy little hands in? Why are you doing it for Trump when he's no the one writing the bill?

I disagree. But what do you say to the workers of those companies who would be affected? Sorry shouldn't have worked for a company Trump or any of the senators have stakes in? Get real. The point of the bill is to help those workers, including people who work for Trump.

Correct. There is no reason why Trump's businesses should be punished. But bailout funds should be made public. Trump is already taking steps to keep that information under wraps....even after the additions were added to the bill to provide oversight. Trump is going to try to ignore them.

We're going to bail out hotels and resorts that cater to the 1%? That'd be effed up, man. Section2 is for it though. Principles.
