And if someone is found to be "abusing" charity (which, of course you are assuming will always cover the gap, which it won't)?
That's up to the charity. There are bad charities. So what? You have no involvement with them if you don't want. Good charities get good results and raise more money, just like good businesses. Competition works for charities too.

He hasn't considered that. Just got to HOPE that charity will cover it. When it doesn't....well....at least free market, right?
Do Government entitlement programs have 100% coverage? Again, your attacks on the free market assumes there is a perfect alternative. There isn't. Both have flaws. Capitalism is just far superior.

Speculation doesn't make capitalism better. Prove where free market ERs and privatized roads have been successful. And don't give any bull**** examples that aren't relevant. Thanks.

Reading most of the threads here, this one should be pinned to the top. The left is becoming more and more mentally unhinged.

It ought to be easy to use logic and reason to break down the arguments of people who are mentally unhinged. Why don't you try that?

Les is an idiot. Check out his posting history. Nothing worth adding.

Old fashioned liberals, conservatives and libertarians will find this woman frightening. Not only for her views but also the fact she is a middle school teacher! I'm afraid many leftist progressives will find her rhetoric pleasing to the ear:

Here's another member of the loony left, continuing with the totally-not-based-on-actually-worrisome-events meltdown:

http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/14/politics/us-special-ops-government-turmoil/index.html

The head of US Special Operations Command said Tuesday that the US government is in "unbelievable turmoil," a situation that he suggested could undermine US efforts to fight adversaries such as ISIS.

"Our government continues to be in unbelievable turmoil. I hope they sort it out soon because we're a nation at war," Army Gen. Raymond "Tony" Thomas told a symposium in Maryland.

That obviously is not a "melt down," he's expressing a reasonable concern of his. Feel free to make a thread with stuff like this.
His point is that it is all characterized the same by some folks here. Look no further than Section2. But your point stands. There is definitely a loony left, just as there is a loony right. (Just look at all the excuses for all the nutty things going on laid down by the likes of CantGet and CRG.) But the loonies on the left side are getting more press right now, for obvious reasons.

Carry on.

There's no question the left has significantly more mentally disturbed individuals that the right. Anyone with half a brain can see that. Their illness is not limited to "weirdos" either, but is present in celebrities and entertainers. That's what makes it all so wonderful.

I left you off the list, Lesbostad, because you are of no consequence here. Don't be offended.

Funny you would post this. You don't comprehend a word of what he said. He was talking about you and the people you support trying to tear down a duly elected government. You are the villain. You and those you support. Sad and with consequences.

No offense taken. You did feel the need to respond, tho. So I've got that going for me. Which is nice.
Congrats on over 12,000 posts. Time well spent!

Come on now, let's just step back for a minute here. Pretend it's just you and I talking. Forget the rest of them. You know the first month has not been kind to Trump and his team. That is a nice way to put it. Don't go all Les on the board-no one takes him seriously. Expressing concern is not a weakness. You can still love yourself some Trump and still shake your head at what is happening. I won't think less of you if you criticize him.

Winona still has some nice qualities by the way.:)

Just you and I, tiki. There has been a organized movement to take down the Trump presidency before it even starts and much off it, if not all of it is based on falsehoods and lies. The Obama administration is playing a large role in it and of course our old Soros gang is front and center in it.

Elements of the left have begun an ideological war and it may not end very well. This is in fact a war to preserve the progress toward a social new world order and to give it new energy. If it persists and would predict as very ugly end to it.

Straight my real opinion.

Did leftists on the Gopher Hole fire Mike Flynn? I didn't realize we had that much power.

So yer saying Les is more?

Hey, DH! Les just called you twice the d-bag as me! You gonna take that? Personally, I feel he underestimated the multiplier. Or maybe it's a logarithmic scale?
