Nothing says rabbithole quite like, "back up your phony legal analysis."
It's already been backed up on here and in the proceedings many times. Don't be lazy. Go find out.
Actually forget it, you don't want the truth. So unless someone else gets it for you, you ain't looking for it.

MSNBC analysis: If Trump gets away with this, he could “shut down voting in a state....This is literally the kind of thing he will do now. We’re not talking hypotheticals anymore.” Literally.

Whoops....Joe Biden :)

Biden circulated the four-page document, titled “Arguments in Support of a Summary Impeachment Trial,” on Jan. 5, 1999. In his memo, obtained by POLITICO, Biden cited historical precedents from impeachment cases going back to the establishment of the Senate and asserted “The Senate need not hold a ‘full-blown’ trial.

“The Senate may dismiss articles of impeachment without holding a full trial or taking new evidence. Put another way, the Constitution does not impose on the Senate the duty to hold a trial,” Biden wrote at the time.

The Delaware Democrat added later: “In a number of previous impeachment trials, the Senate has reached the judgment that its constitutional role as a sole trier of impeachments does not require it to take new evidence or hear live witness testimony.”

Here’s the video of the question:

Romney and Collins want to hear witnesses. Alexander says no more witnesses. Murkowski could make it 51 to finish this mess or tie it up at 50. What happens with a tie?

We don’t know. The Chief Justice could decide and that’s what the Dems want. Or, more likely, the Chief Justice would stay out of it and the motion would fail, no new witnesses would be allowed. The Majority do not want the Chief Justice to intervene in the vote, regardless.

Sen Alexanders said "Yeah he did it. Eh. Don't care." COMPLETE AND TOTAL EXONERATION.

Yes. If the Senate votes in favor of witnesses and acquits Trump, we can be sure that the Dems would’ve have been satisfied and they would be proclaiming Trump’s exoneration. Just like with the Russia collusion hoax.:ROFLMAO:

If the evidence vote results in a 50 - 50 tie, then what?

Correct.

Trump immediately after that, honest to goodness, said “damnit!! You mean this whole time I could’ve just said ‘yes I did it, so what?’ ???? Why the hell didn’t we do that???”

Last night the Dems hit rock bottom. Nadler raced Schiff to the podium for the final summation...and beat him. :) Pelosi asked for the entire Trump legal team to be disbarred. I am not sure how the Dems recover from this debacle. A starting point would be for the Dems in the House to lead the way in censuring Adam Schiff, who has done the impossible and brought the political world to a new low.

There are no independent/swing voters. Never were.

Every single person voting in the 2020 POTUS election had already made up their minds, we’ll before this reality TV/pro wrestling vignette ever started.

You are a Schiff boot licker!

Way out of context.

So he offered three opinions:
1. Requesting the investigation of the Bidens was inappropriate- I disagree. I think Alexander is just silly wrong on this one.
2. Nothing Trump did was impeachable
3. The second article was frivolous

He didn't say he didn't care. He said it did not rise to impeachable.

Are you going to march with the "nasty" women
If a bunch of cowardly bigots can march on the worldly city of Charlottesville, VA with tiki torches, then 75% of the country that's still sane can march on Washington.

Wanna come try to stop us? Come on out, it'll be a gas

I agree. Its time to rally in the streets, as in the Vietnam era.
