Agreed but I'm telling you this kid has a chance to be an extremely special, unique player with size and a skillset that is not really similar to anyone else. He will fill out, but never be a banger; and I don't think it will matter because it's just so unique. I would encourage people to watch a full game; it's just hard to describe.Eat, young man (Chet), eat.
There’s a scoop. Do wonder if there are early leaders for Holmgren?per Shooter:
Gonzaga, by the way, also is in hard pursuit of 6-11 Minnehaha junior teammate Chet Holmgren, son of former Gopher David Holmgren.
Let's slow down a bit before we declare that Chet is going to be better than an NBA HOFer.It is not an unrealistic possibility that Chet will be the best player ever to come out of Minnesota. He may be the #1 player in his class before he graduates. His combination of skillset and size are unmatched. I recommend going and watching him play while he's playing in south Minneapolis.
Best high school player. Not best career. Obviously no way to know that. But has Minnesota ever had the top ranked high school player in the country in their class? That's what I'm referring to.Let's slow down a bit before we declare that Chet is going to be better than an NBA HOFer.
