I agree with GiI. I think the data does show that on average. MN is generally considered to have strict restrictions by people on this board with our neighbors desirably less restrictive. But on average:

But even in a more restrictive state like MN, adherence varies greatly. My employer, for example, actually discouraged us from wearing masks in the common areas around the office because he found it "depressing". I still wear my mask when not at my desk but am certainly in the minority. Lots of maskless meetings with clients, etc. So yeah, not a lot of actual adherence, empathy, or sacrifice going on.
