Yeah that guy looks like he's daydreaming about that time he curled 80# dumbbells.

I'm not sure if this is ironic or funny, but:
Was listening to a show on WCCO radio. The host said she does not take sides or identify with any major party, but if she had to choose, she is more of a Libertarian. She went on to say that she evaluates all the candidates fairly and votes for the best candidate.

About 20 minutes later, while discussing the the last Dem Debate, she said, and I quote, "None of the candidates are likeable."

Good thing she's not taking sides.
She's correct though.

Surprising she didn't make it to Iowa. This could be good for Booker/Klobuchar depending on where her supporters go.

Not surprising. Tulsi delivered the knockout blow three months ago, and Harris incompetence at running a campaign ended it. Cory Booker just doesn't seem to have it. Amy has the most reasonable positions, but that's not where the base is. It's Liz show now.

It is the Liz show, a fake progressive. She will win the nomination and "have" to go the center to beat Trump.

She's already trying to go to the center and it's not going well. The party big shots need to either get Biden to drop out, or name a VP/Caretaker and commit to one term ASAP. At least it's now likely that the December debate will only have 6 people. If Amy's going to make a move it will have to be then. Would be good if Booker could make it in too.

You are an Amy optimist. More than likely, Amy and Booker will follow Kamala around the time the Senate Impeachment trial starts. Bloomberg is laughing at these peons. I do agree with you that Pocahontas almost toast.

Biden, Buttigieg, the survivor of Bernie/Warren socialympics, and Bloomberg are the only likely candidates right now. And I suspect it will come down to Biden and Bloomberg with a bunch of disgruntled Socialists, with Biden naming he VP running mate very early.

But it may very well be a contested Democrat convention, which Bloomberg is counting on.

Amy will stay in through Iowa. If she doesn't come in 4th or higher she will probably drop out after.

Bloomberg has no path and he would not be the choice at the convention either, I don't think. I'm not sure why he's wasting his $. But he's mostly just pointing out what a fraud Trump is, so I suppose it's not all a waste.

Biden/Trump debates will be epic.

Yeah, Biden has had so many extraordinary moments in all the Dem debates. I’m sure we can count on him stuttering and stammering, giving wandering answers, and telling us that his time is up.

I can hear him now:

“Come on man, look folks, guess what, the fact of the matter is...I never spoke to Hunter...oop...my time is up. Come on Donald. Come at me bro.”

There's no way any of them can defeat the least popular, (2nd?) most dementia-riddled President ever!

Followed by 90 seconds of "Fusion GPS, Where's the Server! Oranges! Obama tapped by wires! Covfefe!"

Like I said, epic.

Trump's going to cure Aids and Cancer. But that's all good, right?
AIDS is pretty close to being cured (not b/c of Trump), and significant progress on cancers is always being made (again, regardless of Trump).

But Climate Change? That’s going to take tens of trillions, maybe hundreds, of dollars and complete control over business and private concerns. No problem for Xi Jingliz.

Pretty much.

I have never wanted Biden, and I've gone through various ways of half-heartedly deciding that someone else was going to win the nomination. Warren, Pete, etc. But they never stick, probably for good reason. Just not enough appeal, to enough people.

End of the day, we're going to have two legitimately senile front-runner candidates for president. At least, I trust the aides and sidekicks that Biden will hire to run the country. Far, far, far ..... far, far, far more than the ones Trump has.

First, Biden starts from a point of being a competent person who understands how government works. Trump is an incompetent fool on his best day. So even if they are both in decline, Biden will always be more competent. And yes, he will have far better people around him. It will matter a lot who his VP is. He will not get a 2nd term and might not finish one.

That said, I will hold out hope for Amy/Booker/Pete as long as they are in.

Kamala out. Only 20 more to go.
Only six have qualified for the next debate, which means no ethnic diversity in the lineup, just a slate of white millionaires (Mayor Pete being the outlier on the millionaire list). The 20 will quickly drop out, leaving a much smaller number, which will mostly benefit Warren (as the ones dropping out are on the left side of the Blue lineup). Having Kamala, Booker and Castro (and Tulsi if you consider her an ethic minority) not even make it past the early stage of campaigning really throws a wrench into one of the three campaign focal points of the Blues -- that of "if you vote Red you're a racist". The Blues only voting for whites kind of kills that one (BTW, the other two focal points are "if your vote Red you're sexist and/or you're a Russian"). It's a very weak strategy, and it's getting pretty late in the game to take it another direction. They could have done so much better by championing issues that the general populace really cares about (e.g., healthcare, consumer debt, etc.). The racist, sexist, Russian mantra isn't carrying much weight these days. The Red's have a far better list of focal points. Note that a key in Kamala dropping out is that she didn't endorse any candidate. That's a lot of voters that she could have pushed to a candidate that promises her something in return. She's hoping for a VP slot on the eventual ticket or a cabinet post (I think Amy will be the actual VP on the ticket). Each day Kamala's no longer in the race her ability to influence her past supporters quickly dwindles. If after the next debate she throws support for someone, that's a big tell that the super delegates have selected their winner. But again, Amy has a very good shot at being the VP on the ticket -- brings votes from a swing state and attracts the suburban moms.
