I'd like them to go to 10 conference games rather than 8. The 4 crossover games would also help to balance the divisions. Penn State is in the same situation as everyone else in the conference. To get to the playoffs you have to beat Ohio State, either in the regular season or the B1G title game.

I think most fans were disappointed, but looking at one season in a vacuum to evaluate a coach and program is tricky. Especially when you consider the success of the previous season and all the covid issues this year.

It was the right call in that situation. 2nd and 20 with 20 seconds against a very good defense. A bad result was just a likely if not more likely than a good result. And our kicking game is unreliable.

Both lines should be improved even if Olson leaves, so yes the team should be better.
