Which is more surprising?

This is not a knock on Wisconsin and what they have accomplished over the last decade. But to call them "elite" compared to the types of elite programs the Big Ten saw in the 1980s and 1990s shows how the conference has gone basically sideways this last decade.

Michigan State is the only program that should be considered elite over the last decade. Wisconsin has taken advantage of a very weak Big Ten to do well in the conference. They have accomplished quite a lot, but I would hold back elite because we have all witnessed some true Big Ten Elite Programs through the years.

Should have included the Badgers in that stat. Tubby would look better. Most wins in the conference since 01-02 and far more conference titles in the last ten years then Purdue.

Art can't include them, as it would put the Gophers in a positive light.
