where were the LB's?

their RB's break the line of scrimmage... why weren't the LB's filling??
most D's have 3 levels... we have 2.
 

It is called a Kevin cosgrove high school defense
 

Thought the same thing

It looked like one linebacker would shoot a gap each play and the other couldn't get off his block. Thus leaving a huge hole if the back made it past the line.
 

Did Rallis play last night? I'm not kinding. Without looking at box score and I watched entire game. Saw Tinsley and Cooper, but I did not notice Rallis.

I noticed in the paper that Rallis missed most of the game with an injury.
 

type of defense

I'm not sure what type of defense we are playing right now. Don't know if it is a 5-2. It seems like I only noticed two linebackers all the time. Our linebackers are small compared to last year. Cooper and Rallis used to be safeties and are not that big. Tinsley may be a bit bigger.

Whatever defense we were running, all the runner had to do was get past the line and it was up to the safeties to make the tackle because the linebackers were either stunting or not able to free themselves from blockers.
