I still think there's a chance Big Ten decides to go with 22 conference games.

St. Louis is for sure? Be nice to boost the non conference somewhat and they'll help a bit.

MINNESOTA’S MULTI-TEAM EVENT
Nov. 29-30
Teams: Minnesota, Eastern Washington, Loyola Marymount

Jeff Goodman had a list of all the MTE's he knew about and this was in it.

Meh. Would have been nice to at least get one of the regional teams in it (SDSU/NDSU/USD/UND).

Hopefully, we have a season to play... Seems pretty goofy on November 3rd to know so little, if they are really going to have a Big Ten basketball season.

Well, at least we haven't heard that the season is cancelled yet or that it will be postponed to a March 2021 start. Come to think of it, since Big Ten football will no longer be in the spring, that does leave those months open for basketball.

If you go with the four games you mentioned (UW-GB, BC, St. Louis, and UND) and the Eastern Washington and Loyola Marymount games, that would be 6 non-conference games. Add 20 Big Ten games and you have a 26 game season. Maybe that's all the games teams should schedule. At least that might leave room for makeups in case of cancellations.

That would take us back to the mid-seventies era for the number of regular season games played by conference teams. At least we have better TV access to games now than we did then.

Are the Gophers ever going to put a schedule up on the website? Supposedly there's a game next Wednesday. What time? What channel?
