A great day to watch football today, thank god we are back on campus, what a great atmosphere! I wish that sack would have counted and who knows what would have happened.
I think Best is a great back, but he definitely made his line look better than they are. I think our front 7 is having a pretty solid year thus far. Campbell is really showing some leadership skills that I haven't seen on defense for a couple years.
I wish we would have gone to Decker more when he was 1 on 1, I'm not sure there's a better receiver in college football. Thought he did a great job of elevating up for the catch, something he hasn't always done. If we had a decent O-line and a better running game I think we beat them.
I'm not sure I'll ever understand why our db's continually give the opposing wr's an 8-10 yard cushion, but hopefully it's something they improve on.
Hopefully we can learn from our mistakes today and I look forward to getting the axe back in 2 weeks!
