Week 1 Bowl Projection Thread

Playing UCLA in Vegas would be interesting.
 


Thanks to those posting here -- I always enjoy bowl projections. A few things to note early in the year:
  • B1G has the Vegas Bowl this year, not the Mayo. So anyone predicting Mayo isn't paying attention.
  • Minnesota is VERY unlikely to go to the Pinstripe or Guaranteed Rate due to the repeat clauses in the bowl contracts.
  • Detroit typically doesn't come into play due to the number of bids for the B1G, but if it does and Minnesota is sitting at 6 or 7 wins, that really is a possibility.
  • If Minnesota wins 7-9 games again and isn't in Florida, it's VERY likely to be Vegas or Nashville.
Feels weird to talk about this in week 1, but it's harmless fun :)
