A small but quaint venue, and a known Gopher hangout, is Three Dogs Tavern in north Denver, at 3390 W. 32nd Avenue. Last year I watched a game there and got to hang out with Joe Bjorkland, former Gopher OL. He had lost about 100 pounds from his playing days. Still an avid follower of the GGs.
