Big10 Average $1,765,000
ACC Average $1,779,800
Big 12 Average $2,091,000
SEC Average $2,901,000

These averages only include coaches for whom complete numbers were given.

This says a lot to me, but I'll be fun to draw our own conclusions.

I did notice when looking at the assistant coaches salaries for Minnesota that they left off the six figure salary Minnesota is paying the recruiting coordinator which I would include in there since most programs have an on the field coach designated as the recruiting director rather than having a seperate guy paid to do this job alone.
