one item to keep in mind during this search for a new head football coach...
you might recall two years ago when Brewster was ridin' pretty high at 7-1...and the Tennessee job was about to come open...the Brew made it known (through his operatives) that he was 'available' to talk to Tennessee, if they were willing to talk with him...
same with last year, when the Kansas job was about to open up, and the Brew privately expressed interest...though it was unreciprocated, (same as with the Tennessee job)...
Just because a coach (head coach or top assistant) is currently employed elsewhere doesn't mean communication isn't occurring right now between his people and the Gopher Athletic Dep't.
No different than with Tubby while he was at Kentucky...
