It's tiring just sitting here when you stop and think about how much effort was required for these guys to win this award. Imagine how hard these guys are working! I know all our opponents work hard too but to win Nekton of the week...these guys are competing!!
I applaud their efforts and a shout out to PJ for creating the concept for them to have an avenue of something to strive towards.
I agree with Swingman. We need these guys to step up and perform during the season. Not sure why, but I think we are going to have another good season. I certainly get the feeling we are laying the foundation to accomplish that.

There is no doubt that a high standard of excellence and leadership exists within Gopher Football. When the players lead and work hard, good things happen.
The next men up will fit perfectly like a well-maintained and well-oiled machine. It is dangerous for any team to take the Gophers for granted.
