This D has been looking for a standout Safety the past three years and Nolan would have been a starter and the best DB from day one...

No disrespect to any of the present DBs, but they are not as good as Nolan is down at Texas...

I somewhat understood him going to Texas, but Tim should have been smarter to know that his son could have really helped Tim's team...and may be saved his job...

Exactly...our defensive ends were no existence and the CBs were letting so dak's receivers catch the slant pass all day long.

EDIT: I meant in the long term, not the short term...defensive secondary play has been weak for awhile...
