Don't forget, tomorrow is Senior Day. At the end of their freshman year (either RS frosh or true frosh), the coach who recruited most of these players was fired. In their sophomore year they were on a 1-11 team and many (especially on this board) pointed the finger straight at the Mason recruits for the demise of the team. Then once they got acclimated to a new system/scheme, that system/scheme was changed as a result of changing philosophies/coordinators.

My point is that these student-athletes have endured a great deal and deserve our applause at the game tomorrow. I hope that they, and their families, have no regrets about choosing to spend their 4-5 years of hard effort wearing the Maroon and Gold despite a fanbase which doles out criticism at about a 4 to 1 ratio of praise.

I say hats off to thee:

Rah!

Thanks for the post! I look forward to the opportunity to applaud each and everyone of them. Thanks to them for some wonderful Gopher memories. Yes I say thanks for the memories, because despite the overall record, these guys have played there hearts out. No matter what the score, they just don't quit.

Hats off to the seniors!

Thanks -- great post!!

This has got to be the largest senior class I have seen the Gophers
put out there for senior day in a long time, maybe ever.
Many times there are only about 10 or so....

Thanks seniors for sticking it out and everything that you have done over
the last 4-5 years!!
