starts at 11:30...Strib's Michael Rand....asks Rossi about new guys to look for...mentions Pinckney (really good spring, doing phenomenal job), Martin (really good job as well), Gibbens (smart, physical, downhill, diagnoses keys), Oliver (very excited about him, played sam for us in 19)...lot of young guys stepping up...mentioned Flip Dixon and Walley...thinks way D was at end of 2020 is floor...ceiling is unknown...kids killed the winter program, had a tremendous spring ball, excited about additions, excited about guys who gained experience last year, excited about frosh, excited about staff, guys working really hard....like group in room...really like staff...covid was tough, being at epicenter of social justice issues had a big impact....played d3, coached d3 and di-aa...really appreciate coaching in big ten at a prestigious university living in a great city

first games can be crazy no preseason

Love hearing this stuff. Thanks for the summary!

But as always, it's the only thing coaches can say.

Rubber will meet the road, and we'll really know then. Can't wait!
