per the PiPress:

Derrick Engel's emergence from a middling receiver corps provided a sliver of light on an otherwise gloomy Saturday for the Gophers' offense.

Engel had five receptions for 67 yards and scored Minnesota's only touchdown in a 23-7 loss to Iowa at TCF Bank Stadium.

"I was able to kind of work (the corner) for the whole game," Engel said, pointing to the Hawkeyes' man-to-man coverage.

Go Gophers!!

Yea, don't really think anyone was a 'threat' today in that game.

It would also be nice if we had an offensive coordinator that would actually throw the ball more consistently in the first half so we don't get blown out of games by half time.
