People watching the game outside the gate

There seemed to be a fair amount of people watching the game through the gates. Did anyone here do this and if so can you see any parts of the game beside kicking and long passes? Will security keep people away from the gates in the plaza for safety or home field reason (opposing team fans jamming the plaza where they can make noise).

Also it looked like on the hill across the street a lot of people took in the game. Can they actually see the field or were they just soaking up the atmosphere and the sounds of the game from afar.

Info from one who was sitting on the grass across sthe road

It was the atmosphere and watched the game on the small screen. The B-10 network is not receivable on a portable TV with out a connection to cable or sat.

Word from the lawn

The small screen (which is 3x bigger than the Metrodome screen) and Jamie's announcing made it feel like you were inside.

BTW, the only part of the game visible was Orseske's punts.
