Here’s the penultimate (I love that word) Field of 68 projection for the 2020-21 college basketball season. My final version will hit the streets in the wee hours of Sunday morning, also known as Selection Sunday.

There are 7 new teams in today’s field: Appalachian State (Sun Belt auto bid); Coppin State (MEAC #2 seed); Drexel (Colonial auto bid); Mount Saint Mary’s (NEC auto bid); Oral Roberts (Summit auto bid); Saint Peter’s (MAAC #3 seed); and Seton Hall (at-large).

An * denotes the highest remaining tournament seed in a multiple-bid conference. NET rankings will be updated (through Thursday results) when the NCAA releases the latest rankings.

I wish MSU would be out but that isn't going to happen. Stupid Michigan game.

Sorry but who is this Michigan State team you are all referring to? Are you talking about the MSU Spartans Presented by Rocket Mortgage, or are you referring to some other team?

I had to double check the calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1st when I saw this story but it seems totally legit. This would be a sad trend if it catches on, which it is probably likely to...
