Average RPI of Opponents: 167.7
Average RPI of Home Opponents: 202.428
NCAA Qualifiers (2): Kansas, Mississippi State
Top 100 (3): Kansas (11), Mississippi State (63), Notre Dame (77)

The Good?: Kansas, Mississippi State & Notre Dame is a nice triumvirate that will test the rebuilding Bruins.

The (not so) Bad?: The Bruins shouldn't sleep on Portland in the first round of the Anaheim 76 Classic. The Pilots may pull off one of the season's early upsets.

The Ugly?: Is it that much of a reach to say the Bruins are not a lock for the NCAA Tournament? The Bruins always will defend vigorously under Ben Howland, but this team may not have enough scoring punch.

I count 1 excellent HOME opponent, 1 decent one, and 5 cupcakes.

I count 3 good opponents in Anaheim and 1 at Wooden Classic.

I count 1 good ROAD opponent.

Not all that different from Gophers.

Thanks for sharing BNOT. In the event you haven't figured it out yet, I'm not doing this to prove myself right, as you are so wont to do. In the end all it will do is serve as a preseason guide of where the Gophers' nonconference and home schedules rank with programs of similar ilk (Big 6). In the end I may be surprised (very possible), you may be surprised (undoubtedly you'll find a way to spin anything in Tubby's favor), who knows?

Please note that I've been doing this sort of thing long before your man-crush became the Gophers' head coach, back when no doubt you were gracing the Tulsa, Georgia and Kentucky fan boards with your presence. So don't take it personally if someone questions the Gophers' schedule -- especially the home schedule for which I pay roughly $30 per game -- put together by your "friend."

Proving yourself right and proving yourself as Tubby's #1 brown noser seems to be your main objective here. You're certainly succeeding on the brown-nose part.

As Billy Donovan proved at Florida and Jim Clahoun proved at Connecticut, it ain't who you play, where or when you play them.

It's WHO YOU BEAT and where & when you beat them.

The Gophers' schedule is middle of the pack. If they get to 25+ W, you should be happy.
