There was no PJ Fleck Interview today (2-2-20) on the Sports Huddle on WCCO Radio.

Dave Mona said Fleck would be a guest "on a future program."

My Theory - Olaf the Norwegian Groundhog in Willmar saw his shadow today, which means six more weeks without a Fleck Interview.

I could be wrong.

Today is the end of the FBS Quiet Period. Feb 3rd - 6th is a Dead Period followed by a Feb 7 - April 14th Quiet Period. Evaluation Period is April 15 - May 31.
I remember PJ saying that the Gophers have a shortened recruiting time due to the NYD1 bowl game preps. The coaches must be busy setting up for permissible interaction with recruits on Feb 3rd - 6th. During the Dead Period, athletes and coaches are still allowed to communicate via phone, email, social media and other digital communication channels. So, I can understand all the prep work that had to be done today going into the start of the Dead Period tomorrow.

I wonder if anyone in the SEC has ever read that rule?

Thanks Son! Could be that he is hosting a little family gathering today as well. Needs to take time to recharge as well.
