No Pickems first week of Gopher Football

Correct me if I'm on the wrong path here. I'm thinking that we won't have Pickems the first week of Gopher football due to the large number of events going on, family gatherings, vacations etc. We started about three weeks into the season last year and it worked out well.

As the Gopherhole staff suggested to me, "Keep it simple."

Personally I wouldn’t skip a week but would keep the week simple (ie just the gopher game and 1-2 other brand name games for the week). Football is here and is fleeting.

I agree with starting next week when the Gophers play and only have 1 or 2 other games to pick.
