NCAA NET Rankings 2023-24

Getting to the 7 or 8 spot in the conference standings would be an outstanding first campaign for Coach P and the team. I would think they'd sneak into the NCAA Tournament from that position.
Definitely not easy.
Is Purdue 40 spots worse than we are?

Or are we 40 points better than them. Entirely possible that they are better and we are not as good as numbers say now. It is fun watching them though.

Sad the season turned the way it did with injuries and all. They were certainly on their way.

This is the 4th year of the NET for WBB, after 36 years of the RPI for WBB. The efficiency and margin of victory (early season blow outs) components of the NET are really helping the middle BIG teams, whereas the who you play/beat features of the RPI are hurting the middle BIG teams, except Maryland. In an RPI world, the BIG would really be worried about some of its middles making the tourney.
