Did you guys just catch that? They said there are 24 NBA teams being represented by scouts at the Stadium Shootout - there may be a small turnout, but what a great opportunity for our guys to get seen.

Moonlight...Travis Busch had one heck of a game, as did the entire TEAM!! Congrats to the Gophers on a big win. Maybe, what some called our "cupcake schedule" was just an indication of the fact that the Gophers are a pretty darn good basketball team, and made the "cupcakes" look like cupcakes. Way to go Gophers!!!!! 10-0 and getting better!!!! Go Gophers!!!!!!!!!

Nah. It was a cupcake schedule--except for this game, and a couple of others. But it doesn't matter: we took care of business with the cupcakes, and outplayed the noncupcakes, so while our nonconf SOS isn't going to be all that great, winning today probably means it won't be much of a factor come selection time.

I caught that as well, GL and thought it ironic how surprised the scouts must have been at the end of the game when they had Al Nolen's name written down as the game's best player. But from an NBA potential perspective, CI really put his name out there and he competed against some sure-fire picks, too. There are never enough bigs and he showed a lot of poise, consistency and toughness for a freshmen.
