Just for comparison how long did it take Marcus Jones to heal to a level where he could practice?

5 months is essentially the same as Jones at Spring Practice. Marcus was supposedly pretty well healed in the Spring but was kept out of drills as I recall. Obviously it's not the same since SP can be skipped w/o much issue while Iowa is looking at a regular season without any solid RB options. I'm interested to see how this goes. Hope for the kid's sake that he doesn't rush it.
