Brewster left the program in a shambles as an organization, but to his credit he left behind a solid core of players. If Gray can get anything going in the passing game we won't be push overs. If we can get a pass rush we'll win more than we lose. With our toughest conference games at home and both Wisconsin and Iowa in rebuild/reload mode this fall I could see a winning home conference record and a win or two on the road (Purdue is definitely vulnerable as is Michigan). I just feel like this fall we're Purdue circa 1997. We'll slip past some teams and build off of momentum. We won't be dominate, but when the clock hits zero we'll have more points on the board.

A lot will depend on avoiding injury's. We are very thin at some positions.

I'm hoping for six - anything beyond that will be lagniappe (a Louisiana term - from living there many years).

A little something extra

is the loose definition. NOLA rules!
