per Grant:

The transfer portal has been pretty busy this season. The early signing period was an example of how crazy it can be.

However, not everyone is on board with the new transfer portal system. Minnesota football’s Coney Durr has been with the Golden Gophers for 6 seasons now.

He sustained a serious injury, and a coaching change in his time there. He stressed how important it is to “trust the process” when things get hard in a recent interview per Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press.

Go Gophers!!

Durr knows the value of sticking with the program after a serious injury. I hope Trey Potts sticks with the Gophers on medical redshirt. They will stick with their commitments to their injured players. Like Benjamin St. Juste who transferred from Michigan (it does not sound like Michigan wanted him after he got hurt), he can become a good player for the Gophers.
